10/10 flawless @txikitonyc after 4 years I found the best spanish restaurant in nyc. We had gildas with txistorra, pulpo carpaccio, alcachofas con jamon, arroz meloso, and tarta de queso. The decor is on mark, and the service was measured and professional.

This was a sweet, swanky little restaurant in Chelsea! We had really great service and our waiter was nice and helpful (we had many questions). It did feel as though he was pushing us to order more, versus helping us decide between what we told him we were interested in. I felt that the prices were very high for the portions of the dishes, but I can only assume that's because they use higher quality ingredients. Honestly these dishes are not for the faint of stomach, definitely a lot of interesting flavors, herbs, and dishes. Do some menu searching before you decide to come!

Txikito has been a mainstay in our repertoire over the past several years. A good, soothing meal when you most need it, a place that you never need to doubt or second-guess. In a city filled with a s "corporate" flavored fine-dinning (ahem, the entire Carbone-iverse of Resy waitlists and ) - Txikito feels like a place true to itself. It's not perfect - the service quality seems to ebb and flow like a violent tide. But it is indeed great. Maybe that's the lesson: Txikito doesn't let perfect be the enemy of very very good.

I've heard good things about @txikitonyc and finally booked a weekend dinner! All the food was delicious and our server was very nice and patient in giving us great recommendations. They definitely deserve more love than they already do! Will be interested in coming back and trying more of their delicious Basque cuisine.
